Privacy Policy
Last updated October 22, 2026 · Terms of Service
This page says what WeHold stores about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can do about it.
1. What WeHold stores
- Your profile: your wallet addresses, display name, @username, bio and profile picture.
- What you do on WeHold: posts and their pictures, comments, likes, follows, notification settings, quest progress, and who referred you.
- Trading records: trades, bridges, deposits and Limit/DCA orders made through WeHold — amounts, tokens, chains and transaction hashes. These are also public on the blockchains themselves.
- Rewards: referral and creator earnings, and reward claims with their payout address.
WeHold does not store your password, your email address or your wallet keys; sign-in and keys are handled by Privy (below). Your profile, posts, trades and points are public on WeHold.
2. Technical data
- Your IP address is used briefly to limit how often one visitor can call costly features, and is not stored in our database. Our hosting provider keeps server logs, which can include IP addresses, for a limited time.
- Your browser keeps your settings (chain, quick-buy amounts, wallet choice) and Privy's session in local storage and cookies. WeHold uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Why
To run WeHold: sign you in, show your profile and the feed, carry out and record trades and orders, compute points and rewards, send notifications, prevent abuse, and keep the service working and secure.
4. Who else handles data
- Privy — sign-in (email, Google, X, wallets) and wallet key management, under its own privacy policy.
- Railway (hosting and database) and Cloudflare (picture storage, network).
- Market and trading providers — Codex, GeckoTerminal, CoinGecko, 0x, Jupiter, deBridge, Helius, Blockscout, Etherscan, GoPlus — receive the token and wallet addresses needed to answer a request.
- Giphy receives your search words when you search GIFs.
- Blockchains: every transaction you send is public and permanent.
WeHold does not sell your data.
5. How long
As long as your account is active. Trading and reward records are kept as long as needed for accounting, abuse prevention and legal obligations. Data already on a blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.
6. Your choices
- Edit or remove your profile details and posts in the app.
- Turn notification types off in Settings.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account data to be deleted, at [email protected]. Export your wallet keys first — after deletion they can only be recovered through Privy.
7. Changes
We will update this page when what we store changes; the date at the top shows when. See also the Terms of Service.
